Trip Advisor Cake Review

First some context, 17 years ago my wife took a trip to visit a friend in Hawaii and it was the worst three day experience of her life. She wanted to come back for her for the 40th birthday and so for the last three years we’ve saved to make that reality a month prior to our trip she says she wants her favorite carrot cake as a birthday cake. My wife, due to dietary requirements this must also be a gluten free cake which always adds a special challenge. I emailed from the states and a 3 hour time difference to 6-7 different bakeries on the island asking if they could do a gluten free cake. 3 wrote back and said no but one and only one said yes.

Haole Girl Sweets asked all the right questions and and gave options. After an agreed cake and price I left it to bling faith that when I arrive a month later I’d have something presentable. When I arrived to Kuaui I emailed and told her I’d be able to pick up the cake the next day. She asked where on the island I would be and brought the cake to one of her many locations closest to my activity that day which was awesome. When I finally picked up the cake I was amazed.
